Old Boys in Business

It seems we have a few old boys in the hospitality business and rumours of not a few old boys with pretty interesting positions in life - which hopefully as a club we'll soon start exploiting...

In any case, over in Houston, Renfreshire the Wengel family are not only running a top notch pub and restaurant, but an award winning brewery too... mmmm beer!

Finlay Kerr (Jr.) has his guest house in Crail for the summers and the Winter Adventure company can cater for you every whim on a French ski chalet holiday... so long as you're actually there to ski, eat, drink and sleep I suppose, but having sampled the wares I can certainly recommend them (bribing the web master is a much easier task than you might think by the way!).

More famously, Logan Cotter(1952-57) now runs a Gite in the Dordogne and Ian MacKinnon has the Mansfield House Hotel in Hawick - where the 2006 Old Boys outing will be held in March (see the newsletter Autumn 2005 for details) .

Sandy Crawford is a professional photographer based down in Ayr, with a fine portfolio of wedding work available on his web site.
