Glasgow Warriors vs London Wasps
The Glasgow Warriors take on the London Wasps at Firhill stadium next friday (28th August @ 7:30pm). We will be meeting in the Aitken Suite at Firhill stadium before the match for a pint about 7pm.
Keil School Old Boys Club, maintaining contact amongst old boys around the world
REPORT: The match was excellent. The warriors led for the majority of the game but London managed to pull it back and 10 mins from the end the Wasps were leading 15 -13. A nice little penalty in the last 3 mins put the Warriors back in the lead with a final score of Glasgow 16 & London 15.
The match was listed as a friendly pre-season but tempers were flaring in the first 10 mins with a few wee scraps.
Old Boys in attendance: Scott Allan (77), David Dailly (98), Scott Allan (79), Allan Thomson (95) and Gillian Thomson. We were joined by Neill Wight an Old Boy of Lomond School!
Great night.
Sadly I cant make the match next Friday (Fri 4th Sept - Glasgow vs Muster).
Looking for a good turn out for the Warriors vs Llanelli Scarlets on the Sunday 13th September 2009. Its a 5pm kick off.
